California Energy Commission announcement is great news for consumers and QuietCool alike!

Better Windows, Whole House Fans, Solar-Ready Roofs Considered

SACRAMENTO – In a move to reduce energy costs, save consumers money, and increase comfort, the California Energy Commission today unanimously approved energy efficiency standards for new homes and commercial buildings.

We at QC Manufacturing have for years expounded the great energy saving benefits of our whole house fans and, finally, it’s official!  Starting January 1, 2014, all new construction homes will need to have an installed whole house fan in addition to an A/C installation inspection to assure efficiency.

Of course, homeowners will want to have the most energy efficient whole house fans on the market, and there is no more energy efficient system than QuietCool…

So says the California Energy Commission (PDF)  itself!
