QuietCool is Proud to Announce its Net Zero Emission Efforts with our new 520kW Solar System
QuietCool is well known for our green energy product line for residential ventilation and many of our customers and fans know that we manufacture the majority of our components in-house in our manufacturing facility in Southern California.
This 162,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility takes a lot of energy to run, day-in and day-out, so our team set out to look at ways to reduce our carbon footprint from a manufacturing level. While we have reduced a very conservative estimation of 1.5 million metric tons of CO2 through the insane A/C savings that our products offer, we have sought out to bring the same emission reduction to our manufacturing processes.
Over the last 8 months we have been working to install a solar electric system on our facility, and beginning today, our system is live! We installed a 520kW system that consists of approximately 1200 solar panels. This system brings our entire operation very close to net zero. While this was a very large investment, we want our manufacturing and business operations to be just as green as our product!
QuietCool has been named one of the fastest growing companies in the United States for 7 years straight and innovations like this prove why we are on that list. Being one of the first companies in our industry to accomplish this feat is a huge deal and our goal is to continually push the industry to innovate not only on their products, but in their manufacturing efforts as well.
With QuietCool we are creating a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for homes across the country, from the manufacturing all the way to the product being installed.
